Sarangi Players of North India

 

These are mostly musicians with whom I worked in the course of my fieldwork in India between 1993 and 1997. There are now four archives, each housing twenty or more sarangi players. Each player's page includes a large photo and will soon include sound and biographical and stylistic information.
