Below are views of a superb sarangi made for me in 1997 by Paul Martin, a student and friend of mine and a gifted violin maker. He has made an equally beautiful sarangi for himself. These instruments display a superb quality of craftsmanship which is sadly not found in indiginous Indian instruments. The tuning pegs are fitted with sublime precision allowing for a kind of action unheard of on Indian sarangis. And the tone is brilliant.
